Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Program

The Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) is a college-based program that prepares students to become commissioned officers in the U.S. Navy or Marine Corps. Participants attend regular college classes while participating in naval training activities, learning leadership, military skills, and maritime knowledge. Upon graduation and completion of training, scholars are commissioned as active-duty officers and begin their service commitments. The program helps students earn a college degree and develop the skills necessary for military leadership, often with scholarships available to reduce financial burdens during their education.
