Nativity of Moses
The Nativity of Moses refers to the biblical event celebrating the birth of Moses, a central figure in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. According to tradition, Moses was born at a time when the Egyptian pharaoh had ordered all Hebrew male infants to be killed to reduce their population. To save him, Moses’ mother placed him in a basket and set it afloat on the Nile River. He was found and adopted by the pharaoh's daughter, growing up to lead the Israelites out of slavery. This event emphasizes themes of faith, divine intervention, and the resilience of hope.
