Nations and Nationalism

Nations are large groups of people who share common elements such as language, history, culture, or ethnicity, and often have a defined territory. Nationalism is a strong sense of pride and loyalty towards one’s nation, sometimes leading individuals to prioritize their nation's interests above others. It can foster unity and identity, but also create divisions or conflicts when different nations or groups within a nation compete for recognition, resources, or independence. Essentially, nationalism connects people through shared identity and aspirations for self-governance, shaping political and social relationships on a global scale.
