National Youth Advocacy Coalition

The National Youth Advocacy Coalition (NYAC) was an organization dedicated to supporting young people, particularly those around 16 to 26 years old, who identified as LGBTQ+. It aimed to empower youth by providing resources, education, and advocacy to promote their rights, well-being, and inclusion. NYAC worked to influence policies and raise awareness about issues affecting queer youth, fostering a safer and more accepting society. Although it was active in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, it eventually merged with other organizations to continue its mission more broadly.
