The National Tax Tribunal (NTT) is a proposed judicial body in India designed to resolve disputes related to direct taxes, such as income tax and corporate tax. It aims to provide a quicker, specialized forum for taxpayers and the government to settle tax-related cases, reducing the burden on existing courts and ensuring faster outcomes. The NTT would help ensure fair treatment in tax matters, improve legal clarity, and enhance taxpayer confidence in the tax system. Although the Tribunal has been discussed, as of now, it has not been formally established yet.
