National Statistical Coordination Board

The National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) was a government agency in the Philippines responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the country's official statistical activities. Its goal was to ensure that accurate, reliable, and consistent data on various aspects of society, economy, and environment were collected and used for policymaking, development planning, and research. The NSCB worked with different government agencies and organizations to standardize statistical methods and promote data transparency. It played a key role in helping policymakers make informed decisions based on dependable statistics until it was replaced by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in 2014.
