National Pulmonary Hypertension Association
The National Pulmonary Hypertension Association (NPHA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness, supporting research, and providing resources for people affected by pulmonary hypertension (PH), a serious condition characterized by high blood pressure in the lungs’ arteries. PH can cause symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue, and dizziness, impacting quality of life. NPHA aims to improve diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes through education, advocacy, and community support. It also fosters research to find better therapies and ultimately a cure for this often overlooked but life-threatening disease.
