National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is an organization established in 1930 to serve as a unifying governing body for nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities, known as the "Divine Nine." Its purpose is to promote collaboration, cultural awareness, service, and leadership among these historically Black Greek-letter organizations. The NPHC supports community engagement, academic achievement, and the celebration of African-American heritage, fostering a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among members while advocating for social justice and positive community impact.
