National Medical Association (NMA)

The National Medical Association (NMA) is a professional organization representing African American physicians and other health professionals in the United States. Founded in 1895, its mission is to advocate for health equity, improve health care for African Americans and other underserved populations, and promote diversity in the medical field. The NMA provides a platform for networking, education, and resources for members, while also engaging in public health initiatives and policy advocacy to address health disparities and improve access to quality care for all communities.
