The National Iranian Radio and Television (NIRT), known today as IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting), is Iran’s main organization responsible for producing and broadcasting radio and television programs. It operates a network of domestic channels, providing news, entertainment, educational content, and government-approved messages. Established in 1957, IRIB plays a key role in shaping public opinion and cultural expression, under government oversight. It aims to inform, entertain, and promote Islamic and national values through its diverse media outlets across Iran.
