National Investor Program (Canada)
The National Investor Program (NIP) in Canada was designed to attract wealthy investors who can contribute to the country's economic growth. Under this program, individuals with substantial personal assets could obtain Canadian permanent residency by making a significant investment in the Canadian economy. Although aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and job creation, the NIP was paused in 2015 and is not currently accepting new applications. It offered a pathway for affluent individuals to settle in Canada, promoting both personal and national economic benefits.
