National Institute for Migrant Education

The National Institute for Migrant Education (NIME) is a federal organization dedicated to supporting the education of children and youth from migrant farmworker families. It provides resources, research, and training to help educators better serve this often-mobile population. NIME aims to improve educational opportunities, ensure continuity of learning despite frequent relocations, and address the unique challenges faced by migrant students, such as language barriers and economic hardships.
