National Indian Health Board

The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is an organization that advocates for the health needs of American Indian and Alaska Native communities. It works to improve health care access, promote policies that benefit these populations, and provide guidance on health programs. NIHB collaborates with tribal governments, federal agencies, and other stakeholders to address health disparities and enhance the overall well-being of Native communities. By representing over 570 tribes, the NIHB aims to ensure that Native peoples receive quality health care and have a voice in health policy decisions affecting their lives.
