National Front of Iran
The National Front of Iran is a political organization established in the early 20th century, advocating for nationalism, democracy, and social justice in Iran. It became prominent during the 1950s, particularly under the leadership of Mohammad Mossadegh, who sought to nationalize Iran's oil industry and reduce foreign influence. The group played a significant role in resisting autocratic rule and advocating for political reforms. However, following the 1953 coup that ousted Mossadegh, the National Front faced repression. Today, it remains a symbol of democratic aspirations in Iran's political history, despite declining influence in current politics.
