National Front for the Liberation of Cuba
The National Front for the Liberation of Cuba was a political organization formed in the 1960s by Cuban exile groups aiming to oppose Fidel Castro’s socialist government. It sought to promote democratic reforms and significant change in Cuba through political activism and collaboration among various anti-communist factions. Although it represented a unified effort among different exile groups, it did not succeed in overthrowing the government and eventually disbanded as the political landscape evolved. Its existence highlights the extent of opposition within Cuban exile communities during that period and their desire for a different future for Cuba.
