National Football Conference (NFC)
The National Football Conference (NFC) is one of the two major divisions in the National Football League (NFL), the premier professional American football league in the United States. The NFL is split into the NFC and the American Football Conference (AFC), each comprising 16 teams. The NFC hosts teams from various regions competing throughout the season. At the end of the season, top NFC teams advance to the playoffs, culminating in the NFC Championship Game, where the winner earns a spot in the Super Bowl to compete against the AFC champion for the league’s championship.
