National Football Conference

The National Football Conference (NFC) is one of two major divisions in the National Football League (NFL), which is the professional American football league in the United States. The NFC groups together 16 teams based predominantly on geographic regions and historical rivalries. During the NFL season, teams compete within the conference to secure playoff spots. The winners of the NFC and the other division, the American Football Conference (AFC), face off in the Super Bowl to determine the league champion. The NFC helps organize the league's structure and competition, ensuring a balanced and regional approach to professional football.
