National Electoral Institute
The National Electoral Institute (INE) is Mexico’s independent organization responsible for organizing and supervising federal elections. Its main role is to ensure elections are fair, transparent, and credible by managing voter registration, overseeing campaign activities, and counting votes accurately. The INE also promotes electoral education and guarantees that political processes follow established laws. By doing so, it helps maintain democracy and public trust in the electoral system, making sure that the people’s choices are respected and represented accurately in government.
