National Directorate of the FSLN
The National Directorate of the FSLN (Sandinista National Liberation Front) was the leadership body of the Sandinista movement in Nicaragua. It organized and directed efforts to oppose dictatorship and promote social reforms during the 1960s to the 1980s. After the Sandinistas took power in 1979, the directorate helped govern the country and implement policies. It played a key role in shaping Nicaragua's political direction during this period, representing the leadership structure of the revolutionary movement that aimed to transform Nicaragua socially and politically.
