National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC)

The National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC) is an organization established in 2016 by former Attorney General Eric Holder. Its goal is to promote fair voting district maps across the U.S., ensuring they are drawn without unfair advantages to any political party. The NDRC works through legal challenges, advocacy, and supporting state-level redistricting efforts to prevent gerrymandering—when districts are intentionally manipulated to favor one party—and to uphold democratic principles of fairness and representation.
