National Council of La Raza
The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) was a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and well-being of Hispanic and Latino communities in the United States. It focused on issues such as education, employment, housing, and immigration, aiming to promote opportunities and eliminate discrimination. Founded in 1968, NCLR operated for decades as a leading voice for Latino advocacy before rebranding as UnidosUS in 2017 to better reflect its mission and community focus.
