National Congress of Libya
The National Congress of Libya was the country's legislative body established in 2014 as part of its effort to create a unified government after years of conflict. It was elected by Libyan citizens and was responsible for making laws, approving budgets, and overseeing the executive branch. The Congress aimed to bring stability and democracy to Libya, but political divisions and security challenges hampered its functioning. It served as an interim parliament until controllable political structures and government institutions could be established.
