National Community Land Trust Network

The National Community Land Trust Network (NCLTN) is an organization that supports and connects local groups called Community Land Trusts (CLTs) across the country. CLTs are nonprofit entities that acquire and hold land to ensure it’s used for affordable housing, community facilities, or green spaces. By doing so, they help communities maintain long-term control over land, prevent displacement, and promote stable, affordable living environments. The NCLTN provides resources, guidance, and a platform for these groups to share strategies and advocate for policies that support community-led land ownership and affordable housing solutions.
