National Center on Accessible Educational Materials (AEM Center)
The National Center on Accessible Educational Materials (AEM Center) supports ensuring students with disabilities have equitable access to learning resources. It provides guidance, tools, and training to help educators and schools adapt instructional materials—such as textbooks, digital content, and assessments—so they are accessible to all learners, including those with visual, hearing, physical, or learning disabilities. The goal is to remove barriers by promoting the use of accessible formats and technologies, fostering inclusive education, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed academically.
