
National Association of Black Social Workers
The National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW) is a professional organization dedicated to supporting Black social workers and promoting social justice. It works to improve the well-being of Black individuals, families, and communities by advocating for equitable policies, providing professional development, and addressing issues like racism and inequality. Founded in 1968, NABSW also aims to empower Black social workers to serve their communities effectively and ethically, fostering a stronger, more inclusive social work profession that recognizes and addresses the unique challenges faced by Black populations.
