Nathamuni
Nathamuni was a celebrated 10th-century Indian philosopher and theologian who played a key role in shaping the Sri Vaishnavism tradition. He is recognized for compiling and preserving important devotional hymns called the Sri Ranganatha Patthu and introducing the concept of devotion (bhakti) as a central path to spiritual realization. His teachings emphasized love and surrender to Lord Vishnu, helping to establish a theistic philosophy that influenced South Indian Hindu practices. Nathamuni's work laid the groundwork for later saints and scholars, making him a revered figure in Hindu spiritual history.
