Nasal Bone

The nasal bones are two small, rectangular bones located at the center of the face that form the bridge of the nose. They provide structure and support to the nose and help shape its appearance. These bones are positioned side by side and connect to the frontal bone (forehead) and maxillary bones (upper jaw). They also serve as attachment points for cartilage and soft tissues. Nasal bones are relatively fragile and can be fractured in facial injuries, often resulting in a visible deformity or swelling. Their health and structure are important for both breathing function and facial aesthetics.
