NASA-TLX

NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) is a tool used to measure how demanding a task feels to a person. It assesses workload across six factors: mental demands, physical demands, temporal demands (time pressure), performance, effort, and frustration level. By having individuals rate each aspect, NASA-TLX provides a comprehensive picture of the overall workload involved. This helps researchers and designers understand how demanding a task is, identify areas for improvement, and create better systems or processes that reduce stress and increase efficiency.
