narratee
A narratee is the person or viewer who receives and interprets the story's narration. In literature or storytelling, the narratee can be the actual reader or listener, or sometimes a fictional character addressed within the narrative. Essentially, it's the audience that the story is directed toward or who is immersed in understanding the narration. Recognizing the narratee helps us understand how the storyteller shapes the message, engages the audience, and controls the flow of information within the story.
