Narcomanta
A narcomanta is a large banner or bannered message used by drug cartels or gangs in Mexico to communicate threats, warnings, or statements. Typically displayed in public places, these messages often threaten rivals or law enforcement, or announce demands or alliances. They are a form of psychological warfare, intended to intimidate or send a message to parties involved in drug conflicts. These messages can be written in Spanish or other languages and are usually found in areas with high cartel activity. Narcomantas are an informal, aggressive form of communication linked to organized crime.
