Nano

A nano is a unit of measurement equal to one-billionth of a meter (10⁻⁹ meters). It’s used to describe extremely small things at the atomic and molecular scale. For perspective, a human hair is about 80,000 to 100,000 nanometers wide. Nanotechnology involves manipulating and engineering materials at this tiny scale, enabling the creation of advanced materials, electronics, and medical devices with unique properties. Working at the nanoscale allows scientists to develop innovations with enhanced strength, lighter weight, improved chemical reactivity, or novel functionalities that aren’t possible at larger scales.
