Nanda

NANDA (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association) is an organization that develops standardized labels and definitions for nurses to identify and address patient health issues. Nursing diagnoses describe a patient's actual or potential health concerns that nurses can treat independently, such as pain or risk of infection. These labels help nurses communicate clearly, plan care effectively, and track patient outcomes. NANDA's goal is to improve patient care quality by providing a consistent language for nursing practice across healthcare settings.
