The NAM Summit refers to the annual gathering of leaders from the Developing Eight (D-8), also known as the NAM Summit. D-8 is a coalition of eight developing countries—Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey—that aim to promote economic cooperation and development. The summit provides a platform for these nations to discuss shared challenges, strengthen economic ties, and collaborate on initiatives like trade, investment, and technology transfer to boost their collective growth and influence on the global stage.
