Naga history
The Naga people are Indigenous communities inhabiting the Himalayan foothills across Northeast India and parts of Myanmar. Their history is rooted in ancient traditions, with many tribes developing distinct languages, cultures, and social structures. Traditionally, they were known as fierce warriors and practiced animism. Colonial influences and modern borders have shaped their identities, leading to movements for autonomy and recognition. Despite challenges, Nagas maintain a rich heritage of craftsmanship, music, and rituals, emphasizing their resilience and desire for self-determination within the diverse tapestry of the region.
