Nadi

Nadi in traditional Indian thought refers to subtle channels or pathways in the body through which life energy (called prana) flows. Similar to how nerves carry signals, Nadis are believed to transmit vital forces, influencing physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual well-being. There are thought to be thousands of Nadis, with three primary ones—Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna—playing key roles in energy regulation. Balancing these channels is central in practices like yoga and meditation, aiming to promote harmony within the body and mind.
