
Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī
Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī (1201–1274) was a renowned Persian scholar, scientist, and philosopher from the Middle Ages. He made significant contributions to astronomy, mathematics, and physics, notably developing detailed astronomical models and precision instruments.
