Mycosis
Mycosis refers to an infection caused by fungi that can affect various parts of the body, such as the skin, nails, or internal organs. These infections develop when fungi invade and grow in tissues, often in warm, moist environments. Symptoms vary depending on the type and location of the infection, ranging from skin rashes and discolored nails to more serious internal issues. Mycoses are diagnosed through medical tests and treated with antifungal medications. While some fungi are harmless, others can cause persistent or severe infections, especially in individuals with weakened immune systems.
