MX Records
MX (Mail Exchange) records are a type of DNS record that direct email traffic for a domain. They tell the internet which mail servers are responsible for receiving emails sent to addresses within that domain. When someone sends an email, their email server looks up the recipient domain's MX records to find out where to deliver the message. These records include priorities, indicating the order in which mail servers should be used if multiple are available. Properly configured MX records ensure emails are routed correctly and reliably to your email provider or server.
