Muzzleloader
A muzzleloader is a type of firearm that is loaded from the open end of the barrel, known as the muzzle. Unlike modern guns that load from the breech (rear), a muzzleloader requires pouring gunpowder, placing a projectile (like a bullet or shot), and often using a percussion cap or other mechanism to ignite the powder. Historically used before modern firearms, muzzleloaders are still popular for hunting, sport shooting, and historical reenactments because they offer a traditional shooting experience and require different handling skills.
