Mustard (Moustérien) Sites
Mustard (Moustérien) sites are archaeological locations where remains of Middle Paleolithic tools and artifacts, associated with Neanderthals, have been found. These sites, dating roughly 150,000 to 40,000 years ago, reveal how early humans used flint to craft tools for hunting, processing food, and daily activities. They are primarily located in Europe and parts of Western Asia. Studying these sites helps us understand Neanderthal behavior, technological skills, and adaptation to their environment, offering insights into human evolution and the development of early human culture.
