Mustang Monument
Mustang Monument is a large, privately-owned wildlife conservation area in Wyoming dedicated to protecting wild mustangs—free-roaming horses that are descendants of escaped or released domesticated horses. Covering over 30,000 acres, it provides a natural habitat where these horses live in herds, free from human interference. The site also offers educational opportunities for visitors to learn about mustang ecology and conservation efforts. Managed by The Mustang Monument Foundation, it aims to preserve the genetic diversity and natural behavior of wild horses while promoting responsible tourism and awareness about their role in the ecosystem.
