Munda languages
The Munda languages are a group of related languages spoken mainly in parts of eastern India, especially in Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. They belong to the Austroasiatic language family, which also includes languages like Khmer and Vietnamese. Munda languages have unique features, such as complex consonant sounds and grammatical structures. They are primarily spoken by indigenous communities with rich cultural traditions. Despite their small number of speakers today, Munda languages are important for understanding the history and diversity of human language in South Asia.
