Multistage Sampling
Multistage sampling is a method used to select a representative group from a large population by breaking the process into smaller, manageable steps. Instead of choosing individuals directly, researchers first select larger groups (like regions or cities), then narrowing down to smaller areas within those groups (like neighborhoods), and finally selecting individuals within those areas. This approach makes data collection more practical and cost-effective, especially when the population is spread out over a wide area. It combines different sampling techniques at various stages to ensure the sample accurately reflects the whole population.
