Multispectral and Hyperspectral Imaging

Multispectral and hyperspectral imaging are techniques that capture images across many different wavelengths of light, beyond what the human eye can see. Multispectral imaging collects data in a few broad wavelength bands, useful for applications like agriculture or environmental monitoring. Hyperspectral imaging captures hundreds of narrow, detailed bands, providing rich information about the material composition of objects. Both methods help identify and analyze features based on how they reflect or absorb light, enabling precise discrimination of materials, detecting changes, or monitoring conditions in fields such as science, defense, or industry.
