The Multinational Force Iraq (MNF-I) was a coalition of military personnel from various countries, led primarily by the United States, established to maintain security, support the Iraq government, and help rebuild the country after the 2003 invasion. Its mission included stabilizing Iraq, combating insurgent groups, and assisting in rebuilding efforts, until the formal transition of responsibilities back to Iraqi forces began in 2010. The MNF-I was a multinational effort aimed at restoring stability and fostering democratic development in Iraq during a complex and challenging period.
