Multimodal Therapy
Multimodal Therapy is a flexible, holistic approach to mental health treatment that considers multiple aspects of a person's life. It was developed by psychologist Arnold Lazarus and uses different methods tailored to individual needs. The therapy identifies several Modalities, such as behavior, thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and environmental influences, addressing each to promote overall well-being. Instead of focusing on just one area, multimodal therapy integrates techniques from various approaches to create a personalized treatment plan, helping clients manage a range of psychological issues more effectively and holistically.
