Multicasting
Multicasting is a method of sending data over a network to multiple specific recipients at the same time. Instead of sending separate copies to each recipient (which uses more bandwidth), multicasting sends a single stream that only devices interested in that data can receive and process. Think of it like a radio station broadcasting to many listeners tuned in to a specific station frequency. It’s efficient for delivering live updates or media streams to many users simultaneously, reducing network load while ensuring everyone gets the same content dynamically.
