Multi-Tenant Applications

Multi-tenant applications are software systems designed to serve multiple users or organizations—called tenants—using a single instance of the software. Each tenant's data and settings are kept separate and secure, even though they share the same infrastructure. This setup allows the service provider to efficiently manage resources, updates, and maintenance, reducing costs for each tenant. Examples include cloud-based services like Salesforce or Google Workspace, where many businesses and users access similar platforms but maintain their own separate data and configurations within the same system.
