Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hubs

Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hubs (MASH) are collaborative teams that bring together professionals from different services—such as social work, police, health, and education—to share information and coordinate responses. Their goal is to protect children and vulnerable adults more effectively by quickly identifying concerns, assessing risks, and implementing appropriate support or interventions. MASH facilitate communication, streamline decision-making, and ensure that those needing help receive timely and comprehensive assistance while safeguarding their wellbeing.
