
Muhammad Yunus (Economist)
Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi economist and social entrepreneur known for founding the Grameen Bank in 1983. He pioneered the concept of microcredit, which provides small loans to impoverished individuals, particularly women, to start their businesses and improve their livelihoods. His innovative approach aims to alleviate poverty by empowering people economically.
